King's Annual Basketball Awards 2023

Sport

On Monday, 30 October, our College celebrated the second annual Basketball Awards Night. This year has been exceptionally strong for King's Basketball and finished on a high note at the annual Champion Basketball School of Queensland (CBSQ) tournament which involved over 500 teams. King's CBSQ Sophomore Girls finished 2nd and Sophomore Boys 4th, while the Junior boys finished 4th and the girls finished 6th. Our Opens teams also had a great tournament, finishing in the top 8 overall. This year also saw 15 players selected for the district Hinterland team, nine continued to represent the South Cost Region, while Lailani Brown was successfully selected for the State team.
