Skipping Australia National Championships

The 2023 Skipping Australia National Championships were held in Sydney from 10 -13 June. King’s Skipperoos competed in this event with a team of nine Primary students and six High School students. The four days of competition involved athletes from around Australia who competed in individual and team events, including speed, double-unders, triple-unders, freestyle, double dutch speed and double dutch freestyle.

Coaches, Elly Meteyard (Year 4 Lead Teacher) and Jasmine Hawkins (King’s Alumnus) worked very hard to prepare the athletes for this competition, and King’s Skipperoos achieved many top five National places. Congratulations to all competitors and coaches for your hard work and dedication. Special Congratulations to our 2023 National Champion athletes Nate Mpala, Indi Braun and Bella Zhong, as well as competitor-coach National Champion, Jasmine Hawkins.
