Year 12 Art Exhibition 2023

Creative Arts

King’s hosted its annual Year 12 Art Exhibition on Thursday, 5 October, giving our senior students the opportunity to showcase their creative talents in various forms of visual arts. The event was a huge success, attracting a large crowd of students, parents, teachers, and members of our College community. The art show, entitled Mariskovka, featured a wide variety of artistic choices, from realistic to abstract, traditional to digital, and painting to photography. The artists all showed originality and flair in expressing personal visions and perspectives through their artworks.

Some highlights of the night included a stunning display of photographic artistry showing knitted headwear that explored identity, culture, and fashion, while another was a captivating portrait made of shattered glass created a striking contrast between light and dark, order and chaos. A live music performance by two accomplished student performers entertained the audience and further enriched the atmosphere. The art show offered a wonderful opportunity for the Year 12 art students to showcase their creativity and diversity, as well as to celebrate their achievements and hard work. The event also fostered a sense of community and appreciation among the attendees, who enjoyed the artistic atmosphere and lively conversation. Thank you to all the students, parents, teachers, and staff who supported and attended the event. We are very proud of our Year 12 art students and wish them all the best for their future endeavours.
