Graphic Design & Publications Officer

This position has become available due to a current staff member going on extended leave.

Full Time Contract position, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm.

  • Immediate start available.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise work
  • Work well as part of a team
  • a good understanding of print production processes and be able to liaise with external suppliers
  • expertise in the creation of long-form magazines and other printed booklets
  • a good understanding of the graphic requirements for digital media and video
  • a strong eye for detail
  • be able to convert concept ideas into material that is consistent with visual standards
  • provide guidance and expertise to staff from other departments

The ideal applicant would have:

  • experience as a Graphic Designer in an agency or corporate environment;
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe software - particularly Indesign for printed publications, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • proven ability to work on multiple projects - often with short lead-times.
  • experience designing and maintaining corporate visual design standards
  • experience managing digital assets in a corporate environment

  • at least 2 recent professional referees (including your current employer)
  • at least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably from a pastor or minister).

Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 1200 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.

King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) offers places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
